Pantry Update - 3rd Quarter

Hi everyone,
Can you believe we're already well over halfway through the year?
Over the past few months, our Community Pantry has continued to be a place of hope, practical support and connection for people across our community. From providing affordable food and essential groceries to working alongside wonderful organisations such as The Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Society to assist with more complex needs, we are committed to ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels valued, supported and seen, whatever circumstances they may be facing.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our local community. We are incredibly grateful to the individuals, businesses, community groups and organisations who continue to donate their time, resources and encouragement. Your support enables us to keep our shelves stocked, our doors open and hope available to those who need it most.
Below are just a few of the ways you can partner with us and make a real difference in your community.
Ways You Can Support Our Community Pantry
Every donation helps us provide affordable groceries and practical support to people in our community. Here's how you can make a difference.
Food Donations
We gratefully accept donations of food to help keep our pantry stocked.
Items we're always in need of:
· Fresh Produce
· Butter, Cheese, Yoghurt
· Long-life cows milk & alternative milks
Non-Perishable Food
We happily accept non-perishable food donations provided they are:
· Unopened and in their original packaging. Within their best-before date, or no more than six months past the best-before date (where safe to consume).
· Not past the use-by date. (Food with a use-by date cannot be accepted after that date.)
Sponsor a Refrigerated FoodBank Delivery – $500
FoodBank gives us access to an incredible range of fresh and chilled food at a fraction of supermarket prices. The challenge is getting it here. Each refrigerated pallet costs $500 to transport to our pantry. By sponsoring a pallet, you're helping us bring a range of diary, meats and vegetables to our community. You don't have to sponsor the whole pallet yourself. Every donation brings us one step closer to filling the next refrigerated truck. Businesses, community groups, families and individuals can all become “Pallet Partners”
$500 sponsors one refrigerated pallet delivery. Come into the pantry to find out more!
Ultimately Every Contribution Matters
Whether you donate a tub of yoghurt, a box of cereal, or sponsor an entire pallet, you're helping ensure everyone in our community has access to affordable food and support.
Thank you for helping us bring life and light to the Sapphire Coast.
